300+ gather to explore purpose, health, and longevity at Sun Health’s inaugural event
SUN CITY, Ariz. (Nov. 20, 2025) — With a call to action to “extend your healthspan not just your lifespan,” Sun Health’s 2025 LiveWell Conference drew a crowd of more than 300 from across Arizona and beyond for two powerful days of conversation, reflection, and reimagined ideas about healthy aging. Held November 13–14 at Midwestern University in Glendale, the event featured nationally recognized speakers, breakout workshops, and a shared focus on helping people live not just longer, but better.
Keynote speakers Arthur C. Brooks, Harvard professor and #1 New York Times bestselling author, and Maddy Dychtwald, global futurist and co-founder of Age Wave, challenged the audience to think beyond checklists and focus on what gives life purpose and clarity. Dozens of speakers and local leaders contributed insight on brain health, physical vitality, emotional well-being, and community connection.
“This wasn’t just another health conference,” said Nora Hannah, Chief Engagement Officer at Sun Health. “LiveWell was designed to be a turning point. We gave people tools, yes, but more importantly, we created space for people to reflect on what they want out of the years ahead. And how to live them with intention.”
The conference also spotlighted Sun Health’s legacy of innovation, including its early work in memory research and growing focus on prevention and wellness through the Sun Health Foundation. “Longevity is in our DNA,” Hannah added. “And this conference was a reflection of that. Not just looking at how long we can live, but how well.”
Conference sessions included everything from gut-brain health and movement therapy to Alzheimer’s research, financial well-being, and managing emotional connection in later life. A wellness expo, VIP reception, and interactive panels rounded out the agenda.
